Judge goes down

So just when you think the Yankees team is coming together something like this happens. In the 1st inning of yesterday’s game Aaron judge got hit by a pitch in the wrist. It looked really bad on tv but he stayed in the game and came around to score in the 1st. He even made his next at bat and got a infield single. However in the bottom of the 4th he was removed and Miguel Andujar pinch hit for him.

I knew the injury wasn’t gonna be good because he got sent to the hospital after getting an MRI at Yankee stadium. After about 4 hours after being hit by the pitch a report came out stating that he had a bone chip and a right wrist fracture. It will not require surgery but he will be out for about 3 weeks.

This injury could have been worse so I’m thankful that it’s only a fracture instead of a broken bone. The good news is over the next 3 weeks the Yankees play a bunch of bad teams excluding a 4 games series against the Red Sox. The bad news is the Yankees don’t do good against bad teams.
