New England Patriots (-7.0) V. Detroit Lions

As we wind down on a pretty solid week 3 Sunday, we have the Patriots heading to Detroit to play former defensive coordinator, and now head coach, Matt Patricia and the Lions on SNF. The Patriots start the season 1-1 after a bad game against the Jaguars, where the Patriots just couldn’t find a way to score touchdowns.

But I see this as a non factor because Detroit hasn’t done much either this season. So far Detroit has lost to Sam Darnold, who hasn’t played as good since, and couldn’t comeback from a 13-30 deficit in the fourth quarter last week against the 49ers. Detroit really needs to focus on their defense if they want to win this game because allowing 48 and 30 against bad offenses wont help you win games, especially when you have to go against Tom Brady and the Patriots.

I have the Patriots winning this game and covering the spread. It sucks that Josh Gordon wont play tonight, but the Pats will have no problem against Detroit.
