2019 NFL Week 2 Picks

Welcome back for my week 2 installment of my NFL picks. Week 1 did not go well but, it was just week 1 jitters. There is always room for improvement and that’s a guarantee this week. I do not see how I can lose. So let’s see how I did do last week and let’s get into this week’s games.

Week 1 Record:
Money Line: 11-4-1
Spread: 7-9
O/U: 8-8
Full Week 1 Record: 26-21-1
Lock of the Week: 0-1

New England Patriots V. Miami Dolphins
So here we are a week after I said the Dolphins have the Fitzmagic and they will be able to keep the game close against the Ravens. Well if for some reason you didn’t know, Lamar Jackson is the best running back in the NFL that can throw and no one wants to be on the Dolphins. So just like that my stupid brain wants me to forget all about the Fitzmagic and how the Patriots cannot beat the Dolphins at home and it is telling me that the Dolphins will get crushed this game once again. Also is AB plays its a wrap.

Money Line: Patriots -3000
Spread: Patriots -19
O/U: O48.5

Minnesota Vikings V. Green Bay Packers
Last week, both NFC North teams had some of the worst offenses I have ever seen. I mean Kirk Cousins only had 98 passing yards in their blowout victory against the Falcons, and the Packers only had 213 total yards on offense. I see no way that the Packers do that again and that is because the Bears defense is much superior then the Vikings defense. And yes before you say it, I know the Vikings defense is really good, but the Bears defense last Thursday night was something else.

Money Line: Packers -145
Spread: Packers -2.5
O/U: O43

Arizona Cardinals V. Baltimore Ravens
So after the massive win over the Dolphins last week, the Ravens come into this game as the heavy favorite and I couldn’t disagree more. I mean I did say the Dolphins and the Cardinals would have very similar seasons last week, but the Cards impressed me a lot. The Cardinals had a huge 4th quarter against the Lions in their last game as they scored 18 points to force overtime and eventually tie to end the game. And of course old ass Larry Fitzgerald went off to help get the Cardinals back in the game. So am I dumb for going against the Ravens for the second straight week, yes, but I have way more trust in the Cardinals then I do in the Dolphins. Also, this should be a high scoring game because that Cardinals defense is terrible.

Money Line: Ravens -800
Spread: Cardinals +13
O/U: O46

Jacksonville Jaguars V. Houston Texans
So last week the Jags had a hot start against the Chiefs. Nick Foles was showing why hes better then Carson Wentz and that offense looked good. Then all of a sudden, the worse thing could happen. Foles all of a sudden leaves the game and everyone is questioning where he went. Well, Foles broke his left clavicle and was out of the game. The Jags were without hope, but then Gardner Minshew came in and he a pretty good game. He threw for 275 yards and had 2 touchdowns, pretty good for a 6th round draft pick. Now I am a little warry about this game because the Texans did have a really good game against the Saints last week and probably would have won if Bill O’Brien wasn’t a big oof. This should be a close low scoring game and I see an upset here.

Money Line: Jaguars +325
Lock of the Week: Jaguars +9
O/U: U43

Kansas City Chiefs V. Oakland Raiders
So last week the Raiders opened some eyes on MNF after beating the Broncos in some ease. Players like Josh Jacobs, Tyrell Williams, and Derrick Carr had some good performances on offense. They did play some good defense as the Raiders held the Broncos scoreless throughout the first half. But they have some HARD competition this week as they face the juggernaut Kansas City Chiefs. The Raiders have no chance of winning this game, even after a strong week 1.

Money Line: Chiefs -320
Spread: Chiefs -7
O/U: O53.5

New Orleans Saints V. Los Angeles Rams
We have an NFC Championship rematch from last season and this should be a really fun game. Both offenses looked really good last week, and I have no doubt this shouldn’t be a high scoring game. Now the only concern I have for this game is, is Todd Gurley healthy. I mean he did have a good game rushing dor 97 yards, but he only had 14 carries and had 1 reception. Last season Gurley was rushing for 18 carries a game and 4 receptions a game. He is a major red flag and it is making me go against the Rams in this game where offense is going to be the most important.

Money Line: Saints +110
Spread: Saints +2
O/U: O52

Philadelphia Eagles V. Atlanta Falcons
So this game is probably going to be jokes. I mean the week the Falcons had last week was just an embarrassment. They didn’t score their first points until there was 9 minutes left in the 4th quarter. And for the Eagles, yeah they looked horrible in the first half, but the “throw it up in the air +50 yards and hope Desean Jackson catches the ball” worked like a tee. Also, a win is a win, and the Eagles got one of those last week.

Money Line: Eagles -125
Spread: Eagles -1.5
O/U: U52.5

Cleveland Browns V. New York Jets
And for the MNF games, we have two of the most hype teams coming into the season, facing off. Now both teams had horrendous week ones, but I am still interested to watch this game. The Browns only problem was themselves last week as they had over 190 penalty yeards, you never want that. But I think they will overcome those faults as maybe the pressure is off their backs now. And they face a team that just has every injury they could have. Star players like C.J. Mosley and Quinen Williams are out week 1, and best of all Sam Darnold is out with Mono. I love the Jets. The Browns are going to destroy the Jets here and expect a big game from OBJ because of their dumbass defensive coordinator, Gregg Williams

Money Line: Browns -280
Spread: Browns -6.5
O/U: U44

Los Angles Chargers V. Detroit Lions
Money Line: Chargers -125
Spread: Charger -1.5
O/U: U47

Indianapolis Colts V. Tennesse Titans
Money Line: Titans -175
Spread: Titans -3
O/U: U43.5

Dallas Cowboys V. Washington Redskins
Money Line: Cowboys -260
Spread: Redskins +5.5
O/U: O46.5

Seattle Seahawks V. Pittsburgh Steelers
Money Line: Steelers -190
Spread: Steelers -3.5
O/U: O47.5

Buffalo Bills V. New York Giants
Money Line: Bills -130
Spread: Bills -2
O/U: U44.5

San Francisco 49ers V. Cincinnati Bengals
Money Line: 49ers -105
Spread: 49ers +1
O/U: U46

Chicago Bears V. Denver Broncos
Money Line: Bears -132
Spread: Bears -2
O/U: U40

Thursday Night Football Game
Tampa Bay Buccaneers V. Carolina Panthers
Money Line: Panthers -300
Spread: Panthers -6.5
O/U: U48
