2019 Record: 53-41-2
Lock of the Weeks: 1-1
Baltimore Ravens V. Kansas City Chiefs
In maybe the most looked at game of the week, we have the two hottest teams in football going at one another. On one side we have the Baltimore Ravens, who have been a complete surprise to everyone, taking on their first big challenge this week. The Ravens did face some easy competition in the Dolphins and Cardinals, so I do not expect them to win this game but keep it close. The Chiefs are such a dominant offense, they showed last week they do not need Tyreke Hill to win.
Money Line: Chiefs -230
Spread: Ravens +5
O/U: O51.5
Cinncinatti Bengals V. Buffalo Bills
The powerhouses of New York finally get to play their first game inside New York as they come into this game a pretty big favorite. I am actually shocked on how high the spread is because the Bengals haven’t been that bad this year on offense. Andy Dalton is second in the NFL in passing yards so far, which is a complete shock, all they need is a better run game. Now the Bills defense is REALLY good this season so this should be a pretty low scoring game. Also, the Bills are not playing the Giants this week so it shouldn’t be a complete blowout again and that is why the under is my Lock of the Week.
Money Line: Bills -260
Spread: Bengals +6
Lock of the Week: U43.5
New York Jets V. New England Patriots
Another week, another game where the Patriots are the massive favorites. Nothing better than watching the Patriots just destroy other teams. I mean the Jets have no chance today. They could barely get passed the 50-yard line against the Browns, now they have to face the Patriots, who might just have the best defense in the league this season.
Money Line: Patriots -2600
Spread: Patriots -21
O/U: O43
Detroit Lions V. Philadelphia Eagles
I mean the Eagles look like a complete joke of a team this season. I called the Falcons a joke of a team last week and now the Eagles get the weekly tag of “SmallDog’s Joke of a Team Weekly Award.” Great honors for the Eagles to get. Also, I feel like the Eagles are going to have a very strong week. They will play the Eagles tough and get the win in Philly.
Money Line: Lions +184
Spread: Lions +4
O/U: U45
New York Giants V. Tampa Bay BuccaneersÂ
So this has a chance to be a good game to watch, outside of being a Giants fan. We have two scenarios here. 1, Daniel Jones shows off the mountain of swag he has and absolutely crushes the Buccs here, or 2, Daniel Jones looks like a complete embarrassment. I am really hoping dor the first scenario to play out, but what I see is a good game from Daniel Jones, +250 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, 1 interception, and between 15-30 rushing yards. That would be a success in my eyes for the Giants, but their defense is just so ass, Jameis Winston might actually look good for once.
Money Line: Buccaneers -250
Spread: Giants +5.5
O/U: U48
Houston Texans V. Los Angeles Chargers
For the final game of the day games, we have maybe the two worst offenses (that scored touchdowns) from last week playing one another. Both teams just couldn’t score last week, but there is no way in hell that happens again, right? Yeah, right.
Money Line: Chargers -170
Spread: Chargers -3
O/U: O48.4
Los Angeles Rams V. Cleveland Browns
The Browns get their second straight national broadcast game and they face no easy challenge as they go against the Rams. The Rams offense are back where they left off last season, as they are top 10 in scoring so far this season. They had a close game against the Panthers and absolutely killed the Saints last week, and as of right now I do not really trust the Browns defense. They killed the Jets last week, but look how bad the Titans have been playing since they beat the Browns. They haven’t beat any team or scored more than 20 since that week. The Rams should crush the Browns this week.
Money Line: Browns -195
Spread: Browns -3.5
O/U: O47.5
Chicago Bears V. Washington Redskins
P.U. What a stinker of a game this will be. I mean who thought letting the Redskins on primetime TV would be a good idea. Now can I say this game is going to be a blowout? No. The Bears offense has been one of the worst as they are 30th in yards per game, 31st in points per game, and 27th in passing yards per game. Their defense carried them last week and it will again this week.
Money Line: Bears -215
Spread: Redskins +4.5
