Yesterday’s Record: 3-7
Overall Record: 21-25-1 (+.5u)
Well Yesterday was a living hell for me. I declared three teams dead to me and the Lightning started the Stanley Cup on a slow start. Like I said, living hell. I could not catch a break and the only sport I had a success in yesterday was MLB. I gotta move on from that as it is now week two of football Sunday. Football Sunday knows how to bring positive vibes after a shitty Saturday. Lets win some money.
Pick #1: Jaguars +7.5 (-118)
Last week the Jaguars shocked a lot of people by beating the Colts. Most people, including me, saw them as a team that is tanking for Trevor Lawrence, but Gardner Minshew had a nice game throwing for three touchdowns. Also, the Titans might have won last Monday, but they did not look that good against a crappy Broncos team. A game where they should have dominated, they only won 16-14. I love this high spread for Jacksonville as this will be a close game.
Pick #2: Vikings +162
For a good five minutes I was trying to find a reason why the Vikings are such underdogs in this game and I could not find one. Their defense might suck, but their offense looked real good last week scoring 34 points against the Packers. The fact that the Colts are favorited blows my mind. They can be a good team, but I do not trust that offense with old ass Phillip Rivers at the helm.
Pick #3: 49ers/Jets Under 41.5 (-110)
I love this under here as both teams are missing key parts of their offense this week. The niners star tight end, George Kittle, is out for a game or two with a sprained MCL, and Jets receiver Jamison Crowder is out with a hamstring injury. Now Crowder is no Kittle, but he is a good receiver for the Jets and he will be missed. This will be a low scoring affair where Sam Darnold is going to have another game where he will have no time to throw the ball. The 49ers defense will get to the Jets with ease.
Pick #4: Rams +101
The battle of the 2016 NFL Draft. A week after the Rams beat the Cowboys as underdogs they once again come into this game as dogs. I am a little shocked after what happened with Philly last week against the Football Team, but it’s not like the Rams have a dominant defensive line that can get to the quarterback with ease. I mean Aaron Donald is and average at best d-lineman. I also do want to state that Jared Goff proved some haters wrong last week with that win. He had a good game, but today I would like to see him score some touchdowns.
Pick #5: Chief/Chargers Over 47 (-110)
Last week the Chiefs scored 34 points against a good Texans defense. Now they play a shittier team in the Chargers and I love this over. There is no doubt in my mind the Chiefs will score more than 34 points this week, and if they don’t, then all I need is 14 points from the Chargers for the over to hit. Seems pretty easy to me.
Pick #6: Nuggets/Lakers Over 213.5 (-115)
My first and only non-football pick of the day, I am going with the same pick I had two days ago. The total points was raised from 210 to now 213.5, but I am still fine with this over. The total points from last game was 240. 240. This over is going to hit with no doubt in my mind. Seems like easy money to me.
Pick #7: Patriots/Seahawks Under 44.5 (-112)
With my final pick of the night, I am going with a great defensive game tonight. The Seahawks may have given up 25 points to the Falcons last week, but I am still confident in this under. The Pats still have some question marks in their offense as they did not look that good last week against the Dolphins. I still need to see some more from the Patriots to make me take them serious as last week did not answer that question for me. Also, the Patriots defense is still really good. Go Defense!
