Yesterday’s Record: 2-1
Overall Record: 34-41-2 (-1.5u)
Yesterday we had a successful day going 2-1, but today is a new day and I have a bigger challenge ahead of me. I have to have a good college football saturday, it is a must. I have a lot of games today, but I am confident in all of them. It feels weird saying that since I am 2-7 in NCAAF, but that was the past. I was still young in my college football days, but now I am a new man. Lets going win some money and play the song Elton.
Pick #1: Pitt -3 (+102)
For some reason the haters and losers (of which, sadly, there are many) are saying this is a spite pick. I have no idea where that came from. It’s not like I declared Louisville dead to me last saturday on Twitter. I just think Pitt is the better team as Louisville played a piss poor game against Miami last week. No bias goes into my picks.
Parlay Pick: 1u to win 9.9 (+989)
Kentucky +205
Mississippi State/LSU Over 56.5 (-110)
Army +13 (-115)
For my parlay pick today I am going with a couple underdogs who I belive are the better teams. Kentucky has a really good offense with Terry Wilson at the helm. Kentucky had aspirations at the beginning of last season with Wilson, but his injury in week one ended all that. Now it is a new season and Wilson is back and he is going to get the Wildcats the win. For Mississippi State and LSU, I don’t know how good LSU is now because there whole team is gone. I still think they will be a good team, but with most their key members gone, I have no clue who is winning. This is going to be a close game where both LSU and Mississippi State will be scoring. Finally with Army, Army’s defense has been dominant all season long, only allowing seven points in two games. That is why they are now ranked 22 and that is why I have them covering the spread. This will be a really good game.
Pick #3: West Virginia +6 (-115)
The only reason I am going with West Virginia here is because how bad Oklahoma State looked last week against Tulsa. They barely had the edge over a crappy Tulsa team so I am going with West Virginia to cover this spread. West Virginia was able to beat their inferior opponent by a million, why couldn’t Oklahoma State.
Pick #4: Texas -17.5 (-108)
I am going with Texas to kill Texas Tech here solely on the fact that Texas looked really good two weeks ago. Sam Ehlinger looks like the real deal and could be a legit top QB choice (after Lawrence obviously) in the 2021 NFL Draft. Texas Tech has no chance in this game and Texas will win by a lot.
Pick #5: Virginia -4 (-115)
Again, people are saying this is a spite pick because I declared Duke was dead to me, and that is just nonsense. I just think Virginia is a really good team and that Duke is a horeshit team for not beating Boston College, but once again no bias. If I was biased then no one would want to take my picks seriously. I just think Virginia is going to start their season in the right step and make Duke stick to basketball and never play football again.
Pick #6: Miami -10.5 (-113)
So Miami might be a legit team. No bias, no joking, they beat a good Louisville team convincingly last week and it opened up my eyes for them. It also helps that Florida State is a complete dumpster fire where they already have players asking for transfers. Miami is going to kill Florida tonight.
Pick #7: Nuggets/Lakers Over 214. 5 (-115)
My final pick of the night and I am going with the same pick I have gone with every game this series. I just love the Lakers and Nuggets over because all these two teams do against each other is score. I don’t know how both of their defenses are that bad, but they love to score. Also, I see this being a game where the Lakers just get a quick 20 point lead and coast their way to the NBA Finals. They might score 130 points.
