SDSGS Vol. XVIII

LETS FUCKING GOOOOO!!!! What a day I had yesterday. I had all my picks hit besides the Texans +4, but it was made up when my Miami Heat future hit. It was a great fucking day, but it is now a new day and I need to get humbled. One good day doesn’t mean anything, I have to continue this streak, but with that said I did increase my units. It’s time to make more money and now is the best time to increase my units. It sucks that there are not a lot of sports on today, so I decided to make my two future MLB picks for who is going to win the N.L. and A.L. Now let’s win some money.

Pick #1: Lightning/Stars Over 5 (-129)
Going to start off with the Stanley Cup today as there is not a lot of sports on tonight, but this time I remembered that the game was on. This series has been awesome so far as the two teams love to score on one another. It seems like the only safe bet in this series is the over. The over is 2-0-3, so I am once again jumping on this pick. These teams will score on one another and hopefully the Lightning finish it out.

Pick #2: Chiefs/Ravens Over 54.5 (-112)
For my second pick of the day I am going with the Monday Night Football over and there is no doubt in my mind that this over will hit. Two of the best offenses in the league going at it, of course I am going with the over. The Chiefs did not look their best last week, but I am still confident they will score a shit ton of points. Same thing with the Ravens, they looked phenomenal for the first two weeks of the season, leaving no doubt this over will hit.

Pick #3: Chiefs +3 (+105)
Also for the game tonight, I am going with the Chiefs to cover the spread. This will be a close game and the Chiefs will be in it all game. I am a little shocked that this game is not a pick’em because I have no idea who is going to win this one, but the Chiefs will keep it close all game long and have a strong chance of winning it. I was not confident in Chiefs moneyline, but I am confident the Chiefs will stay in this game as the two have a shootout.

Future Pick #1: Dodgers to win the National League Championship (+140) (.5u)
My first pick to make the World Series is going to be the Dodgers. You could say this is a pussy pick, but the Dodgers are such a good team and are going to make the World Series. The only team that has a chance against the Dodgers in my mind is the Padres, but due to lack of experience from a lot of their players, I am giving the Dodgers the edge.

Future Pick #2: Twins to win the American League Championship (+575) (.5u)
For my second futute, I have the Minnesota Twins making the World Series. The A.L. Championship is a little harder to predict as their are a lot of team that could make it, but I landed on the Twins making a run. The Twins pitching was among one of the best in the MLB this season, having the fourth best ERA (3.58), seventh best opponent batting average (.232), and ninth most strikeouts (535). I also like the Twins offense even when they did not have the best season. A team lead by Byron Buxton, Eddie Rosario, Nelson Cruz, and Jorge Polanco, I like my chances. There is a reason why they won the A.L. Central and second best record in the A.L. I also love that they do not have to play the Yankees at Yankee Stadium with all those scumbag fans. Who knows, they might not even cross paths, but you can find my MLB Postseason prediction blog coming out later today to see who the Twins will play.
