SDSGS Vol. XXV

That was far and away the worst day I every had gambling. I turn twenty yesterday and somehow I had the worst day of my life. I don’t know how every beat I made lost. I am at a complete shock, truly I have no words. All I can say is to just move on from yesterday and focus on today. Let’s win some money.

Pick #1: Athletics -128
Going to start off with some baseball and with my only baseball pick of the day I am going with the Athletics to win game one. This is going to be a fun series between the two teams but the Athletics are the better team in my mind. There hitting and pitching has been so much better than the Astros this season and the fact that the Astros are not playing frauds like the Twins now puts them in a bad spot.

Pick #2: Patriots/Chiefs Over 48.5 (-108)
Now you might ask me “SmallDog why are you choosing the over when Cam Newton is not starting for the Patriots.” Well my response is Patrick Mahomes. I will always bet the Chiefs over as long as Patrick Mahomes is on the team. Scoring is in his genetics and they will score a shit ton of points in this game. Also, I don’t hate Brian Hoyer as a backup, kind of a Fitzpatrick kind of guy.

Pick #3: Falcons/Packers Over 56 (-105)
Again, how could I go against this over. When I saw these two teams playing last Monday, the first thing I said to myself was that I am betting the over, no matter what the total is. The Falcons are averaging 30 points per game and giving up 36 points per game. The Packers are scoring 40.7 points per game and giving up 28.7 points per game. If my math is correct, thats alot of points. Both of these teams offenses are explosive and their defenses are really bad. This over is so sure to hit that I am going to give my first ever SmallDog Guarantee. This will be a fun one.
