SDSGS Vol. XXVI

Holy shit, what is going on? Ten straight? I cannot catch a break and I am at my wits end. I don’t know how I keep losing. Nothing is going my way, nothing. The world just hates me and I am almost close to retiring from gambling. All I can do is hope and pray my picks win today. Let’s win some money.

Pick #1: Braves -1.5 (-106)
The Braves are clearly the better team here, no shit they are going to win this game and series. They are so much better than the Marlins and the fact that they beat the Cubs show how much of a fraud the Cubs are. Atlanta is going to make a quick three game series with Miami. I also didn’t pick the moneyline because the odds aren’t very good so I went with the spread. The Braves offense will kill this Miami pitching staff, so the points is pretty easy.

Pick #2: Astros/Athletics Over 9 (-110)
I don’t know how they keep doing it, but Houston keeps having these comeback victories whenever I bet them, so the obvious solution is to bet the over for today. Both teams have some bad starters on the mound so this one can get ugly fast. Just gotta depend on the Astros hitting staying hot for the over to hit.

Pick #3: Yankees +115
It is inevitable, after what I saw yesterday, the Yankees are going to the World Series. Their offense is red hot right now. Even Giancarlo Stanton is looking good, what the fuck. I am not looking forward to this run the Yankees are going on now. All I can hope is to make some money while the Yankees win the World Series.

Pick #4: Lakers/Heat Over 218.5 (-110)
Thank God I did not bet the over on Sunday, I don’t know what I would have done if the over did not hit like it did and I made the bet. Today though, I am comfortable to make the bet. LeBron is looking to make a fuck you statement to all the haters and losers (which, sadly, there are many) tonight as he might break the most triple-double points in a Finals. LeBron is going to go on a tear and show why he is the best basketball player of all time.

Pick #5: Dodgers -153
This game does not have the best moneyline odds, but I do not trust the -1.5 spread. I think this is going to be a close game between the two so I am just going with the moneyline here. The Dodgers are the better team and this is going to be a really fun series, too bad I can’t watch most of it since they are starting the game at 9:30. Shame to miss some of the best teams in baseball because they are playing so late at night (I say that as I will watch the whole NBA Finals and that starts at about the same time.)
