SDSGS Vol. XXXI

Yesterday’s Record: 3-2
Overall Record: 65-77-3 (-12.4u)

I had a nice little NCAA football Saturday and I am now on a three day positive streak. I should be feeling happy, but I still feel down. Maybe it’s being down 12.4 units. I don’t know. Today can be big for me tho. Seven bets that can get me real close to being positive once again and I love my picks. The NFL board looked great and I am ready for a successful Sunday. Let’s win some money.

Pick #1: Rams -7.5 (-103)
Last week I had Rams -13.5 against the Giants and somehow the Giants just played really good defense. I guess they have a good defense, but the Rams are going to have a comeback week. Every time Washington has lost this year they have lost by more than 14 points. I fully expect the Rams to continue that pattern today, as they are going to destroy Washington and show everyone once again why they are one of the best teams in the NFL.

Pick #2: Falcons -133
I hate this pick so much because Dan Quinn is still the head coach, Falcons are 0-4, but that is why I love it. The Falcons LOVE Dan Quinn and a win today will save his job for one extra week. Other than last week, Matt Ryan has been a good quarterback this season. The Falcons are finally going to get that win today and I would not be shocked if they went on some run after today’s game. That’s the type of team Atlanta is.

Pick #3: 49ers -8 (-115)
I might have gotten a little to excited with the 49ers last week because they were playing the Eagles. I let my heart pick that game because of how much I hate Carson Wentz and the Eagles. I should have been smarter, but now I am confident the 49ers are going to beat the Dolphins. The 49ers are getting Raheem Mostert and Jimmy Garoppolo back this week. That is huge for their offense and it will show as they will kill Miami today. Also, the Fitzmagic is running out, so it’s time to sell the stocks and bet against them until Tua is starting.

Pick #4: Colts/Browns Under 48 (-108)
Last week the Browns SMOKED the Cowboys. The Browns offense looked so dominant and that is why I love the under. The Browns played one of the worst defenses in the league last week. We love to overreact to what happen last week, but we need to remember how bad Cleveland is. Even in that win against Dallas, Baker did not have a good game, only throwing for 165 yards. Now they play one of the best defenses in the league. Indianapolis defense ranks 1st in yards per game, passing yards per game, and points per game. Also they rank 4th in rushing yards per game. That is not good for Cleveland, whose offense is ran through the run game (no pun intended). It is not talked about how good the Colts defense is and they will show it once again this week with another low scoring game.

Pick #5: Cowboys -7.5 (-108)
I might have said the Giants defense is good, but they are going to get smoked by the Cowboys this week. The Giants offense is so bad and Jason Garrett is going to get embarrassed by his old team this week. He is going to see Dak throw for 400+ yards and 3+ touchdowns today. This is going to be another shitty game for the Giants and make us not want to exist as fans. It will also suck when Daniel Jones and the Giants have only one touchdown today.

Pick #6: Lakers -6 (-115)
The Heat have had a really good story during this playoffs and Finals run. It has been fun to watch them make this unexpected run, winning two games against the dominant Lakers, but LeBron could care less. The Lakers are going to smoke Miami tonight as the LeBron goes on to win his 4th NBA title.

Pick #7: Vikings/Seahawks Over 55 (-110)
The Seahawks over did not look good last week against Miami, but this week they are home and playing a shittier defense. Russ is prepared to cook and kill this Vikings defense. The Vikings are going to put up some points because the Seahawks defense isn’t very good and they have talented pieces in Cook and Jefferson , but Seattle will do the primary of the scoring for the over.

Update 4:00

Pick #8: LeBron James Over 51.5 Points, Rebounds, and Assists

Pick #9: Rays -131
