There is not much to say that has not been said before, but Steve Cohen is 99.9% of the way to becoming the owner of the Mets. He bought the team, he got the owners votes, and now we just need that scumbag Bill de Blasio to stop being an asshole and just give him the rights to the team. At this point it makes zero sense why Bill de Blasio’s biggest worry is Cohen buying the Mets. He should be worrying about how there is a God damn pandemic going on killing millions of people. Not one rich guy buying the team.
Regardless, today is a happy day. We finally get to say see ya Jeff, see ya Fred, you fucking assholes. This is going to be a great moment in history and I feel bad for anyone that is no apart of it. JT Realmuto wants to be an asshole and stay in Philly. Go ahead bud. Yankee fans want to say Cohen wont change anything, go ahead. If Jerry Reinsdorf wants to cry to Bill de Blasio because Steve Cohen has so much fuck you money, go ahead.
