NFL Week 4 Picks

Last Week’s Record: 2-3
2021 Record: 11-17

So last week was another downer going negative, but my picks WERE NOT BAD. They just weren’t and they never will be. I will always believe in my picks even if I am down tremendously, but that’s neither here nor there. We’re back for another Sunday of NFL football and I have decided to bring back one lock a week. I used to do that back in the day, but I think I lost so many locks I stopped because it was very embarrassing. That’s not going to happen this time around, and I know the pick I have today is a for sure win. So let’s get on into it.

Lions +3 V. Bears
Starting things off with an underdog and I love this pick. The Lions are a one-half team this season and that’s all you need if you want to beat this Bears team. I know the Lions are not that good of a football team. They have a lot of holes in their team, especially on defense, but they are a scrappy group. This Lions team will play their hearts out and that’s all thanks to Dan Campbell. The players love playing for him and they will love playing for him even more after they get their first win of the season against this lowly Bears team.

Dolphins -1 V. Colts
I think this spread is a complete joke and that’s why the Dolphins are my lock of the week. The Colts STINK, and especially when their QB has two (2) sprained ankles. Last week against a crappy Titans defense, Carson Wentz was unplayable. He could not move around in the pocket which lead to a lot of bad throws and incompletions. Now the Colts are going against an even better Miami defense. This feels like a game where Carson Wentz stands no chance and Miami will put him under pressure all game. I’m also a big fan of Jacoby Brissett so him leading this offense is not much change from Tua.

Rams -4.5 V. Cardinals
After I saw the stat saying Sean McVay is 8-0 against the Cardinals, I knew this was the pick for me. The Rams might have the best offense in the NFL this season, but I like their defense here in this game. The Buccaneers, who also have one of the best offenses in the NFL this season, were held under control last week against the Rams. Now they are going against Kyler Murray and I love the matchup. It feels like Kyler Murray got his flowers too early this season and has played progressively worse as the season has gone on. Now that doesn’t mean he is a bad QB, but people were crowing him MVP after 1 week and he has not played the same since then. All I’m saying is that Kyler Murray will face the smoke known as the Rams defense and the Rams will blow out the Cardinals.

Ravens PK V. Broncos
This matchup is a complete throw-up and I can see it going any which way, but I decided to go with the Ravens here because they have beaten a good team this season. The Chiefs are the Cheifs no matter how you put it. If the Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes and you win, it is impressive even if they have a crap defense. The Ravens may have had a less than stellar week in Detriot, but they will bounce back and continue this winning streak against a team that has beat nobody.

Buccaneers -7 V. Patriots
I mean c’mon. Tom Brady’s first game back in Foxborough against a mediocre Patriots team. This has recipe for disaster and Tom Brady will embarrass his former team on national television. Kind of mean if you ask me, but it’s all business for Mr. Brady.
