Oh man, yesterday was a beauty. After losing two of my first picks in different, but unlucky, fashions I thought I was dead. Then I went 5-0 on the rest of the games and I could not be any happier. I am now back on the positive side for the SDSGS record and plus money with my units. It was a great day, but we now move onto this NFL slate that I am not the fondest about. I don’t see there being a lot of good games, but we will go on and dominate the day. Let’s go.
Giants +3 V. Panthers
Every blog I keep telling myself not to bet on my teams, but I hate this weekend games so much I am going with my crappy team covering. The Giants flat out stink and I declared that I will no longer be watching them on the main TV anymore this season. With that said, I think the Panthers are frauds. They have not won a game since Christian McCaffery was injured and the Giants will get their second win of the season, the first at home, and continue to show everyone the frauds that Carolina are.
WFT/Packers Over 47.5
Last week I got burned by a very similar game involving the WFT’s over. I thought the Chiefs and Football team would be able to score a shit ton of points, but the WFT had other plans in mind. That was last week. Their offense is going to get back on track and score at least 17 points today. Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay will do the rest of the work as Rodgers will continue his dark horse MVP season.
Chiefs -4.5 V. @ Tennessee
We now move on to a game that I find very interesting. Both these teams got wins last week that said a lot about their teams. The Titans got a huge win against Buffalo and their spectacular offense. Derrick Henry was in midseason form, looking like one of the most dominant running backs in the NFL. The Chiefs on the other hand did what they had to and after a shit first half, they put on their big boy pants and won the game by 18. That is why I love Kansas City in this game. Mahomes is going to be back where we thought he was going to be all season long and beat this offense that is being carried by one player.
Bears/Buccaneers Under 47
P.U. This is going to be a game no one wants to watch, and that’s why its my lock of the week. The Buccs are going to own this game on both sides of the field, and Justin Fields is not going to be able to do anything. This has a 35-6 final score vibe to me as Chicago fans will have zero fun watching this game.
Colts +3.5 @ 49ers
I have always been one of Carson Wentz’s biggest haters throughout his NFL tenure. I always thought he was just a tiny bit (HUGELY) overrated. Even with my hate of Carson Wentz, I think he could go to the San Francisco area and beat this team. Jimmy G is not a good QB, and the Colt’s offense has looked good these last few weeks. Carson Wentz will be able to win this game by being just a little bit better than Garoppolo, which is not saying much.
Knick -12 V. Magic
The Knicks are 2-0 against the spread this season and I will continue to bet on them until it is no longer profitable. The Knicks are good and after the ass-kicking they just gave the Magic on Friday, in their own building, I have no doubt they are going to kill them again today. The Knicks are back at home in MSG and the fans are ready to die for this team. It’s going to be a loud crowd as the Knicks blow out the Magic and move to 3-0 on the season.
Celtics -5.5 @ Houston
I mean c’mon. The Rockets stink. I know I said this about them the last time I bet against them, but they do. Boston is going to Houston to dominate a team for a few hours, take care of business, then leave. I expect a blowout here as Boston gets their first win of the young NBA season.\
