So yeah yesterday kind of sucked. I had multiple picks lose in an embarrassing fashion. Michigan felt like the safe bet throughout the whole game. Then they just shit the bed. Texas and Baylor scored 24 points in the first quarter. Then zero the next. Very unlucky but seeing Glover Teixeria win the way he did was awesome. To win that underdog pick was great and I am now ready to get back on my winning ways. Let’s go.
Eagles -3 @ Detroit
The Lions have become the loveable losers this season. They are a team we can all come around and love because even though they are 0-7, they try. They are 4-3 against the spread this season and a lot of the money is on them to win and cover. What we continue to forget about the Lions is that they are not a good team. They are going to lose this game to an Eagles team is might be just as bad, but they do have more talented players.
Titans +3 @ Indianapolis
This feels like a pretty disrespectful pick. The Titans are the better team, no doubt in my mind. Derrick Henry might be the best player in the NFL, he’s going to run all over this defense who is in the middle of the pack for rushing yards/game. Also, Henry has 113 yards the last time they play. Henry gets better throughout the season and he will shred this defense and the Titans get an “underdog” victory.
Bengals -11 @ New York (AFC)
Mike White is the starting QB for the Jets today. That’s all the info you need for this pick. The Jets might score zero points today as the Bengals ride to the finish line winning by 30.
Chargers -4.5 V. Patriots
The Patriots have not beaten a good team this season. I do not care how many close games they’ve had this season. They only beat the Jets and barely beat the Texans. Justi Herbert and the Chargers are going to be refreshed after their bye week and show America how good of a team they are once again.
Cowboys +117 @ Minnesota
A battle of who’s a for-real team. Both these teams have big question mark that’s hurting people’s perspective of if they are a good team or not. The Cowboys’ defense has been horrible this season, giving up 381.1 yards/game. The thing that is holding the Vikings back is that Kirk Cousins is their QB. I will never thrush Cousins because he is always prone to do Kirk Cousin’s things, especially late in the season. I think the Cowboys’ offense comes into Minnesota and runs all over this defense that is giving up 128 yards/game and gets the win.
Braves +104 V. Astros
Welp, it looks like the end of the road for the Astros. It feels like their whole offense does not even want to try. They just love to not score. Sad.
Hornets -102 V. Trail Blazers
I am going to continue to ride with the Hornets, even after their loss against Miami. They need to get back on track and this will be the game to do so. I don’t think the Blazers are a good team as Charlotte will get a big win as a home underdog.
Bucks +115 V. Jazz
Both these teams are coming off tough losses yesterday, but between both teams, Milwaukee needs the win more. They are 3-3 on the season and I expect the Bucks to win this game. They have Giannis Antetokounmpo on their team. Giannis will go off as they need this win more.
Hurricane -1.5 V. Coyotes
I will continue to bet against the Coyotes. They are the worst team in the NHL going against the best team who scores the most goals per game in the NHL. Feels like an easy bet.
