2021 Record: 77-99
Yesterday Record: 4-5 (-1.14u)
SDSGS Record: 32-31 (+5.01u)
Futures Record: 2-10 (-1.75u)
I don’t know how I went negative yesterday. I loved all my bets. All of them felt good. Who would have thought the Bengals would lose to the Jets as eleven-point favorites. What are you going to do? Whatever we are on to a new day and I am ready to win us some money. Let’s Go.
Giants +10.5 @ Kansas City
I know I always say never bet on your team, but how could you not bet on the Giants. Daniel Jones as a road underdog against the spread is 10-4 in his career when he starts. I love those numbers and Daniel Jones loves to play close games on the road. This is a high spread that I do not think is accurate to where these teams are out. The Giants may not be the best team, but the Cheifs are not that far away from the Giants. I do not expect the Giants to win this game, but they will for sure cover this spread.
Giants/Chiefs Over 52
Let’s do something I haven’t done in a while and let’s double bet this game. These defenses suck. Both are giving up more than 360 yards/game and both are giving up more than 25 points/game. These defenses stink and Patrick Mahomes and Daniel Jones will take advantage of that.
Knicks -7 V. Raptors
The Knicks are a better team than Toronto and are going to kill them, but that’s not what I am here to talk about. How dumb is the NBA to not play this game in Toronto. The first-ever NBA game took place in Toronto 75 years ago today, but for some reason, the game is in New York. I don’t know why the game isn’t played in New York, but whatever. I am not going to complain about having homecourt advantage as the Knicks kill the Reports tonight.
Bulls +120 @ Boston
I don’t care if the Celtics are the home team. The Bulls are a better team than the Celtics and should win this game with ease. I actually think it’s quite disrespectful that the Bulls are not the favorite, but I’m not going to complain about free money.
Magic/Timberwolves Under 216
These two teams cannot score this season. Both of these teams are averaging below 105 points/game. The Magic have no true scorers on their team and that is going to be a problem for them because Minnesota has a top 10 defense in this short season. They are ranked 6th in points/game, giving up 100.6 per game. There will not be a lot of scoring in this game as this will be a real snoozefest of a game.
Thunder/Clippers Over 210
Now onto the opposite end of the spectrum, these two teams do stink at scoring, but their defenses are not much better. The Thunder are giving up the 22nd most points per game and I like what I have seen from Paul George this season. The Clippers are going to run up the points and do most of the work to cover this over.
Capitals/Lightning Over 5.5
Last, but not least, hockey. Both of these teams love to score goals. Both teams are in the top ten for goals/game and the Lighting are ranked 26th in goals given up per game. I like my odds here that both teams will score more than three goals and cover this over.
