The Giants finally come to their senses and are clearinghouse. It took a very long time for it to come to fruition, but in the end, we are starting on a new slate. Since yesterday I was trying to convince myself that I was alright with Judge staying. there’s a reason why we all loved him after the first season. he was a gritty coach who got the boys going, but that strategy does not always work, especially when you have a record of 10-23 after two seasons. We were a complete dogshit team, and we still are, but now we are moving on. No more Gettleman. No more Judge.
So what’s next? Obviously, we have to wait for a new GM before we make any new hires for our new head coach. I have no idea who I want for the GM position. As long as it’s not a universally hated move like Gettleman was, I will be happy with anything. I just want a smart person who is coming from a successful team.
Looking at coaching, the Giants could go after Flores. I feel like Flores was on the wrong end of the firing in Miami, but Flores not wanting to coach Tua is a scary situation. The Giants are in a similar position that Miami was in with Daniel Jones at QB. Jones may not have had the best start to his career, but he shows his flashes, like Tua. I would like the Giants to keep Danny Dimes, but if the Giants get Flores, I feel like he would like to move on from him.
Jim Harbaugh has always been talked about with the Giants the last couple of seasons whenever they fire a coach. I don’t know why, but Harbaugh joining big blue would be awesome. Was a very solid coach in San Francisco and after having his best season with Michigan, now might be the best time for him to jump back to the NFL.
But… the coach I want most is Kellan Moore. Let’s bring in this supposed offensive genius and turn this team around while also fucking over the Cowboys. We need a coach that can lead Danny Dimes in the right direction, and after leading the Cowboys to the most yards/game and points/game, Moore feels like the right man for the job.
All I can hope is that our next GM/head coach leads us out of being one of the biggest laughing stocks in the sport and puts this team back on the map as one of the most prestigious franchises in the NFL.
