It was my best week of the NFL season last week. I finally had a positive week in my picks and my money. Everything was going up, but then the MNF and TNF game came, and I went 1-4 on my picks. That killed all the momentum I had. I suck, but… it’s a new week. Let’s win some money!
NFL Record: 29-59-1 (-25.54u)
Last Sundays Record: 5-4 (0.39u)
Big Money Lock of the Week: 1-3 (-5.23u)
Prop of the Week: 2-0 (+3.7u)
Lions/Ravens o43.5 (-108, 1u to win .93)
Let’s start off with the game of the week. This game will live up to the hype as two of the best teams and QBs will score points all game long. This over will covered by the end of the third quarter. The Lions defense has been letting teams score more than 20 points in four of their six games this season. They had a good game last week against Tampa, but the Ravens should have no problem scoring on them, which leads me to my next pick.
Lions +130 (1u to win 1.3)
I know I just shitted on the Lions defense in the last paragraph, but I believe the Lions have a top 5 offense in the NFL. They are third in total yards per game and fourth in points per game. This offense has been unstoppable for most of this NFL season, and it’s not stopping today. The Lions defense might keep this game close, but when the time hits 0:00, the Lions will be on top. Also, a stat I love the Lions are 7-1 straight up in their last eight games. The Lions know how to win football games.
Giants +130 (1u to win 1.3)
I’m taking another dog, and this has nothing to do with my Giants fandom. The Washington Commanders and River Boat Ron are complete frauds. Like many others, I believed in the Commanders hype going into the season. Their defense had all the potential to be great, but their last couple of games showed me they don’t have what it takes to be a good football team. They were blown out by a bad Chicago Bears, a gutless loss to Philly, and another game getting blown out by the Bills. And last week was the final straw because they should have beaten the Falcons by double digits. The Giants will win today despite having Tyrod Taylor at QB because the Commanders are gutless frauds.
Big Money Lock of the Week
Raiders/Bears u38.5 (-108, 2.5u to win 2.31)
Let’s be honest with one another, this total should be a lot lower. Nobody loves backup QBs more than me, but a 38-year-old Brian Hoyer versus a Division II QB getting his first career NFL start has a recipe for disaster. This game will be one-sided, as Las Vegas will score the majority of the points, but it won’t matter much when the Bears score 6.
Prop of the Week
Tyler Lockett Anytime TD Scorer (+125, 1u to win 1.25)
The Seahawks are going to murder the Cardinals today. It won’t be a close game, and the Seahawks will spread the wealth around this game. Metcalf and Walker will get their usual TDs, but Tyler Lockett is due for one. Lockett only has two touchdowns this season, and it all came from week two against the Lions. Lockett hasn’t had the best season of his career, but he picked up last week with six receptions for 94 yards. Lockett will ride the momentum and score his third touchdown of the season.
Chargers/Chiefs o47.5 (-110, 1u to win .91)
This over is the most sucker bet of all time. You see this game and think to yourself, “These two teams have great offenses. You have to bet the over.” You are a sucker if you bet the over, and I am a sucker. I am falling for the trap and fine if the over doesn’t hit. Only a square would bet this under.
Steelers/Rams Parlay (+1843, boosted, 1u to win 18.43)
Cooper Kupp Any Time Touchdown Scorer
Puka Nacua Any Time Touchdown Scorer
Matthew Stafford o225+ Passing Yards
Cooper Kupp o70+ Receiving Yards
Najee Harris o25+ Rushing Yards
Rams -168
It is another game where a team will have control for most of the game, as the Rams will destroy the Steelers. I have no faith in the Steelers. The Rams will win this game by 20 points as all the player props in the parlay hit.
Dolphins/Eagles o52.5 (-110, 1u to win .91)
This should be an awesome game to watch. Two of the best teams in the NFL, duking it out for the world to see. This is a massive game for Miami, as they still need to prove they are a real team. They’ve beaten all the bad teams soundly, but in their one game against a good team, the Bills blew them out. The Dolphins aren’t going to get blown out tonight against the Eagles. I do believe the Eagles win the game, but it should be the barnburner that we all expect. Jalen Hurts loves to put on a show for the home crowd, as the over is 12-2 in his last 14 games. If that stat doesn’t prove the over will hit, then maybe this will. In Miami’s last 11 road games, the over has hit 9 times. These teams love to score, and tonight will be no different.
