WrestleMania XL Night One Predictions

That’s right, it’s my favorite time of the year because Wrestlemania is finally here. Nothing tickles my loins more than a couple of dudes and girls getting in a ring and fucking shit up. I cannot wait to see what the new leader of WWE, Triple H, has in store for us these next few nights. Last year, we were left with a bitter taste in our mouths as Cody Rhodes shockingly lost to Roman Reigns, but this year will be different. But that will be tomorrow night. Tonight is night one of Wrestlemania, and it is a great card. The card consists of many tag matches, but I’m not here to argue. I’m looking forward to most of these matches. It should be a fantastic night of wrestling, so with that said, let’s get into the predictions.

Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill & Naomi vs. Damage CTRL (Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Dakota Kai)

It’s about damn time we get to see Jade Cargill in a wrestling match. The Royal Rumble appearance was cool, but this is a real match, and what better way to have your first real match in WWE than on the Grandest Stage. This is an easy one to predict because the team consisting of Cargill, Belair, and Naomi are winning. Cargill will get her first win of her WWE career and start picking things up after Mania.

Winners: Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill & Naomi

Rey Mysterio & Andrade vs. Santos Escobar & “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio

Of all the matches on the card tonight, this is the one I’m looking forward to the least. I love seeing Rey getting another match at Wrestlemania, but this feud has been dead for months. It’s cool to see Andrade get the match, but man, does it suck for Dragon Lee. Getting replaced on a Wrestlemania card has to be a terrible feeling for a wrestler. With how Carlito was looking sus as hell on SmackDown last night, he will probably turn heel on Rey and give Santos Escobar and Dominic Mysterio the win.

Winners: Santos Escobar & “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio

Six Team Tag Team Ladder Match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship

The Judgment Day (c) vs. The Awesome Truth vs. The New Day vs. #DIY vs. New Catch Republic vs. A-Town Down Under

I will be shocked if this match doesn’t steal the show. These 12 wrestlers, a couple getting their first Wrestlemania match, will do everything they can to make this match memorable. I can’t wait to see what crazy shit Johnny Gargano or Austin Theory has in store here. Like most people on Twitter, I agree this will be a funky finish. R-Truth will do the dumb shit as he grabs only one set of titles and thinks he won the match. The announcers have been saying for the past few weeks that both sets of titles must be retrieved for the match to be over. Truth will do this and get his first-ever Wrestlemania victory. For the other titles, I see either NCR or Theory and Waller getting it. Awesome Truth will probably grab the red ones since they are on Raw, so it will probably be a SmackDown team grabbing the blue belts. I’m fine with anyone grabbing the other belts as long as it isn’t the Judgement Day. They have held on to the belts for long enough, and I would like to see another team as champions.

Winners: Awesome Truth and Grayson Waller and Austin Theory

Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso

For the third time in Wrestlemania history, it will be real brother vs brother, and I am hyped for this match. If well goes right, I think this can be match of the night, but knowing WWE Solo Sikola will probably interfere and give Jimmy Uso the win. The only thing I am disappointed with this match is I wish this match had a winner/loser stipulation. Something like if Jimmy Uso wins, Jey would be forced back into the Bloodline. Something like that would’ve been awesome, but other than that, I’m looking forward to this. The Yeet/No Yeet chants all match will be electric.

Winner: Jimmy Uso

Intercontinental Championship Match

Gunther (c) vs. Sami Zayn

If Solo does get involved in the prior match, then this will be match of the night. The pop Sami Zayn will get when he pins Gunther will be loud as hell. It’s just too bad Gunther will kick out at 2.9 and continue his dominant championship reign. Gunther is far and away my favorite wrestler in the world right now, and he deserves another Wrestlemania win.

Winner: Gunther

Women’s World Championship Match

Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Becky Lynch

Another match that has the potential to be great. If it wasn’t for Dwayne getting in the way and making himself the main event, this should have been the night one main event. But because of Dwayne, the two women have a vendetta and will do everything they can to make this a great one. What I’m looking forward to the most is Becky Lynch shutting up all the haters on Twitter. There has been too much hate for one of the best wrestlers on the planet. Becky deserves this match and will make Rhea Ripley look like the star she is. Rhea will win this match and continue her year-long championship reign.

Winner: Rhea Ripley

Cody Rhodes & Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. The Rock & Roman Reigns

I have a lot of questions going into this match. First off, how long will this one go? Three of the four wrestlers are wrestling tomorrow night. I am praying nothing bad happens to them, and they are healthy to go tomorrow. Secondly, how much is The Rock going to do? He hasn’t had a long match in over ten years and is in the ring with three of the best in the company. I’m sure Roman will do most of the heavy lifting because I don’t expect much from The Rock. I’m sure Rock will oversell like crazy, which I love, but I am interested to see how much he does. In my opinion, the only way this match should end is with Roman pinning Cody. Seth can’t lose the night before his title defense. It makes him look weak as he is already the 4th wheel in this occasion. Roman also can’t lose because he’s the champion. You can’t have the champion lose. Then you have the Rock, who is being built as the final boss. The final boss ain’t losing. So that leaves Cody and him losing makes all the sense in the World. Make us doubt that Cody can lose against Roman tomorrow, but also have the Bloodline Rules match happen so we can have the craziest, overbooked match in WWE history.

Winners: The Rock and Roman Reigns

All these predictions will be correct, and I am so excited for 7:00 PM!
