Man, what a show. That show last night was pretty damn good. While it did have its downers, I still enjoyed much of the show and am excited about what night two has to show us. Before I get into my night two predictions, here are my reactions and grades for night one of WrestleMania.
Rhea Ripley defeats Becky Lynch and retains the Women’s World Championship
Before CM Punk and The Rock’s return, I thought this should have been the main event of night one. After everything that happened, it got bumped, but if you’re not going to be last, you’re better off going first. What a start it was to WrestleMania as these two women put on a show for us. It sucks Becky Lynch wasn’t at 100% for this match, but she still looked fantastic. Rhea Ripley was the correct winner, and I can’t wait to see what they have next for her, hopefully Rhea vs Liv Morgan.
Match Rating: 8/10
Awesome Truth wins the Raw Tag Team Championships, and Grayson Waller and Austin Theory win the SmackDown Tag Team Championships
Another great match that had so many fantastic spots. JD McDonagh going through the tables, Johnny Gargano DDT’ing Pete Dunne through a table, and my favorite spot, Tommaso Ciampa/Tyler Bate Air Raid off the ladder. It was as fun and as chaotic as a ladder match gets, and the right people won. Waller and Theory will have a good tag team run, and R-Truth finally gets his WrestleMania moment. I doubt Miz and Truth will hold the titles for long, but at least they got the moment.
Match Rating: 7/10
Rey Mysterio and Andrade defeat Santos Escobar and Dominic Mysterio
Like I said in my prediction blog, this was the match I was looking forward to the least, but it was okay. It wasn’t the worst match of the night, at least. I’m just happy Andrade is back in the WWE because he is a great wrestler. I thought Dom and Santos should have won, but the WWE used those Philly scumbags Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson to interfere in the match.
Match Rating: 5/10
Jey Uso defeated Jimmy Uso
Holy crap, did this match stink. We should have known with how Lil Wayne was introduced as the greatest rapper of all time and how bad his performance was. This match had no energy from the Usos’. I don’t know why this match was so paced so slowly. Thank god the crowd gave us the Yeet/No Yeet chants.
Match Rating: 3/10
Jade Cargill, Naomi, and Bianca Belair defeat Damage CTRL
This was a fine match, highlighted by how cool the entrances were. I really enjoyed Damage CTRL’s entrance, and The Big Three’s entrance was amazing. Jade Cargill looked like a million bucks, and Bianca Balair continues to be undefeated at WrestleMania.
Match Rating: 6/10
Sami Zayn defeats Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship
Before going into this match, I would have been very disappointed to see Sami Zayn win this match. I thought Gunther’s reign should have continued, but the story told during this match was fantastic. For the first time in his career, Gunther got too cocky, and it cost him his belt. I thought we would never see anyone hit a turnbuckle brainbuster, but Sami hit it with perfection. Truly a new era. Sami Zayn changed my emotions, which is why I think this match has match of the year contender written all over it.
Match Rating: 10/10
The Rock and Roman Reigns defeat Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins
Holy shit, how fucking crazy was this match. 40+ minutes was something I thought I would never see with the Rock. This match had everything from the entrances to the brawling in the crowd to near finishes. I loved the Rock using his power to stop the ref from ending the match, which led to chaos. I have to apologize to the Rock because I did not think he would do all of this at 50+ years of age. Rock taking a Rock Bottom off the announcer’s table was magical. The correct people won, and now we have a crazy main event of WrestleMania, ahead of us.
With that, lets now get into the predictions for tonight’s card:

World Heavyweight Championship Match
Seth Rollins (c) V. Drew McIntyre w/ CM Punk on commentary
I do not think this match will be able to top the Intercontinental Championship match from last night, but it will come damn close to it. This will be the best wrestling match of the night. The story Drew and Seth can tell will be the reason why. Drew will take advantage of Seth Rollins and whatever injury he had last night, leading him to win his first world title in front of a crowd. Also, please do not have Damien Priest get involved in this match. Save it for tomorrow.
Winner: Drew McIntyre

Bobby Lashley, Montez Ford, and Angelo Dawkins V. The Final Testament in a Street Fight
This match has the potential to steal the show. I had zero interest in this rivalry for months now. I want Karrion Kross to focus on something else, but making it a Street Fight, rules. Like last night’s ladder match, I expect absolute mayhem in this one. All six of these wrestlers are hungry and want to do some crazy shit. I’m expecting something really crazy from Montez Ford.
Winner: Bobby Lashley, Montez Ford, and Angelo Dawkins

LA Knight V. AJ Styles
I have the same expectations I had with last night’s Uso fight with this match. Hopefully, it goes a lot better, and it should. AJ Styles is still one of the best wrestlers in the world, and nobody is more over than LA Knight. The Philly crowd should go crazy during this match for LA Knight. AJ can lose this match and won’t be affected. Hopefully, he can reunite with the OC after tonight, but LA Knight needs to win this one.
Winner: LA Knight

United States Championship Triple Threat Match
Logan Paul (c) V. Kevin Owens V. Randy Orton
This should be a fun match. I’m so happy Randy Orton is back on a WrestleMania card, and it’s always great to see KO Mania. I also really enjoy Logan Paul as a wrestler. The dude understands the art. Before last night, I would have said I wanted Logan Paul to retain, but now I need Kevin Owens. I need to see Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn together in the ring with their titles. It would be a tear-shedding moment.
Winner: Kevin Owens

WWE Women’s Championship Match
Iyo Sky (C) V. Bayley
Once the Royal Rumble happened, I have been looked forward to this feud. Honestly, I thought the story was poorly told and rushed a little. I thought there was a better way to get to this match, but either way, this should be another great match. Iyo Sky is unbelievable in the ring, and it is time for Bayley to get her true WrestleMania moment finally. I think I saw they couldn’t get Paramore to sing Bayley to the ring, so I hope they go with her old theme instead. That will be an eclectic pop.
Winner: Bayley

WWE Undisputed Universal Championship Bloodline Rules Match
Roman Reigns (c) V. Cody Rhodes
This should be the most bonkers, overbooked match I will ever see. I want every single bloodline member to interfere. I want every ally of Cody to help out. And I want to see Stone Cold or John Cena show up. I don’t know how likely the last two are, but I want this to be a crazy ending to WrestleMania. I want all the false finishes. I want unknown cousins of Roman to interfere. And I want blood! I want all of this, but most of all, I want Cody Rhodes holding up that damn belt win the bell rings. If Cody does not win, I will lose all hope in humanity.
Winner: Cody Rhodes
Now let’s watch some damn wrestling!
