Finals Score: Knicks 138-122 Suns
Knicks Record: 9-6
We are right back at it. Another blog where the Knicks utterly destroyed their opponent from start to finish. Right out of the gates, it seemed like the Knicks would win this game. They were hitting threes at an unreal rate, where I thought they could have broken the record for most threes in a game. It was a wire-to-wire victory for New York. If you aren’t an obsessive weirdo like me, you could’ve gone to sleep at halftime. Sadly, I need to watch every second of every Knicks game.
Just like it was against the Wizards Monday night, it was a complete team effort in last night’s win. Of course, Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns get the biggest praise because of how great they played, but everyone on the team played fantastically. Brunson led the way with 36 points and 10 assists, while Towns had 34 with 10 rebounds. They are the first duo to score 30+ with a double-double this season. This is the type of game we expected to have when we first got Towns. It took some time for things to gel, but the Knicks look like one of the best offenses in the NBA. Their offense averages the 5th most points per game (118.3 PPG), and they now have the 2nd best offensive rating in all of basketball.
Brunson and Towns have been dominating. In their last 6 games (5 for KAT), both players have averaged 55.7 PPG combined. It’s insane to see what this offense can be. It’s also not just Brunson and Towns. Mikal and OG have been playing their roles to perfection. And somehow, Josh Hart has become a reliable three-point shooter to go along with his incredible driving skills. There’s nothing more to say about this game than to say how great the Knicks offense was and has been recently. Obviously, giving up 122 points to a Beal/Durant-less Suns is a little concerning, but we’ll look past that for now. The Knicks won, and that’s all that matters.

Now, let’s see what the Knicks have up next.
The Knicks’ next game is Saturday evening in Utah. A 5:00 start time is perfect because we don’t need to stay up late to watch the game, and by the time the game is over, we can enjoy our Saturday night. And we will enjoy our Saturday night because this is a bad Utah Jazz team. As I write this blog, the Jazz are 3-11 and on a 3-game losing streak. Things aren’t going well for Utah, but at least they have an excuse, unlike those loser scumbags in Philly. This is not a good team, and the Knicks should have no problem with them. The Jazz are giving up the 5th most points per game while scoring the 5th least amount of points per game. It should be similar to the Wizards and Suns game, where all players look good offensively, and the Knicks get an easy win.
