Yesterday was quite a bummer because a couple of my picks just lost. They barely lost, but in this game it’s not about barely. It’s either they win or lose, and my picks lost, Gotta be better. Also, my three day positive streak ended. It sucks, but just gotta move on. We do not have a lot of games today with only three games on tonight, so I have to make the most of what we have. Let’s go win some money.

Pick #1: Rays -116
Going to go with the same pick today that I had yesterday, and I am even more confident with today’s pick. The Rays pitching will always be better than the Astros and as the days go on we will see it even more. Lance McCullers is a head case. Dude cannot handle any pressure and the Rays are going to get at him early today. Tampa Bay’s hitting will show up today and leave their mark in this game. Charlie Morton can give up 2-3 runs and they will still be in good hands.

Pick #2: Dodgers -137
This is going to be a really hard series to predict, but the Dodgers are the better team. It’s going to be a fun best of seven series and the Dodgers are going to start off game one with a win. It will be a low scoring affair, just like Tampa and Houston was yesterday, but you have to give the edge to the Dodger because of their bullpen. The Dodgers bullpen is far and away better than the Braves, and it’s going to be the key to why L.A. wins this series and game one.

Pick #3: Chargers +7 (-110)
Are the Chargers going to win this game? No, probably not, but the Chargers are a good enough team to stay in this game and make it close. I really like Justin Herbert. A lot of people, including me, slept on him and he is showing that he could be a franchise guy for Los Angeles. What’s going to keep the game close is Drew Brees poor play. We all know by now he is not what he used to be and it shows. He cannot make passes more than 15 yards in the air. The Chargers might not have the best defense, but they are good enough to stop that old corpse we call Drew Brees.
